Melissa G. Marrero

Melissa G. Marrero is an associate at Sloto & Diamond who devotes her practice exclusively to estate planning, probate and guardianship administration, and related litigation. Melissa works with clients on customized estate plans, contested wills and trusts, and daily administration of probate, guardianships, and trusts matters.

Melissa graduated, cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law in 2020. While in law school, Melissa competed all around the world including Austria, Greece, and New York and won the Outstanding Negotiation Skills Award and Outstanding Service Award.

Melissa is dedicated to educating her community about the unintended consequences of not having an estate plan. She helps clients understand their rights and responsibilities, and provides compassionate advice during difficult times. Trustees, Guardians, Personal Representatives, and Beneficiaries rely on Melissa to help ensure that the administration of trusts, probates, and guardianships are proper and efficient.

Melissa G. Marrero is a first-generation Cuban American, born and raised in Miami, Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys adventurous traveling and trying different cultural foods. Her bucket list consists of visiting the seven wonders of the world.
